  1. Mine has been FlashDance ever since I was a child and I am 45 today and I still will watch that movie …I feel in some ways looking back at my life I wish I had more confidence but I see her being humble but always at 5he end of 5he moving I cry and get goosebumps and I have no idea what it is I really feeling or wanting to feel… Lol. But thank you I was feeling kind of down this morning and came across it email and it’s the good energy vibes I was seeking for thank you again!

    1. loved that movie. Im 50 myself and know that is shaped my generation for sure 🙂 I have not seen it in a long time, so I cant speak much more than to say she definitely chased her dreams and was NOT afraid to leave the box. Sounds like a great time for us all to drop the backpack full of cares and step into the same. Thanks for being with us! – Mie

  2. I have problems….? I don’t have a favorite ice cream, I don’t have a favorite movie, and I don’t watch TV.
But for the sake of conversation….
I’d say Vanilla because it’s a base for all the flavors (like good communication skills are to healthy relationships, The Notebook because I AM that basic at heart, and as for the TV….anything Bob Ross recorded is preferred ???

  3. Thx for the introductory video. As for me, I chose pralines & cream, MASH, and Vibes. Those have been my choices for many years. Let’s see how they fair moving forward. Thx again.

    1. Bryan, I LOVE Jeff G and just recently watched that movie again after so much time. What a fun movie! As you know, in that movie, Jeff and Cindy are hired to find the lost temple (they find out later) and its such a fun movie. The primary characters do encounter challenges of betrayal by those who commissioned them, and they indeed are super gifted and see things in another way that most are not able to (both being psychic). One could easily see how you are probably able to do something similar and probably see the truth of things, even probably have a super solid “spidey sense”. Since you mentioned MASH (also grew up on MASH), I would venture a guess that your current archetypical skew is towards fun and freedom. In both selections (MASH & VIBES), the characters live outside of society and use humor as a friend to cope with and to make light of an insane world. I do find that when people choose comedy, these are the funnest people to be around 🙂 makes me super curious of your Life path and astrology. you are probably a pretty fun person to hang around 🙂 – Mike

      1. Hi Mike ?

Thank you for the uplifting reply. I do love laughing and making people smile and laugh as well. When I was younger, I chose to be happy instead of being miserable; no matter what life opens up for me. My mantra is: everyday and every possible way, I trust my intuition and all the power of my subconscious! As for my life path, I believe it’s a 1. My b-day is in 2 days, so that would make me a Virgo and I have Cancer rising. I believe my soul purpose is to encourage and help others anyway I can. My “spidey senses”, along with your video, makes me believe the same about you. Your smile is contagious and makes me very glad I was directed to your site. I can see that your true purpose is being served with the joy you exude. And thank you again for your reply, it makes a difference.
        Much love ?

        1. I grew up watching Hot Lips, Hawkeye, Radar and the entire crew 🙂 It’s a great show that really reveals that even in the most horrible of places, the life we live is our own by design. The characters had a hard job to do, but most made it fun with their own unique way of adding to the spice of the day. While I don’t remember a lot of specific episodes, I can tell you that the entire premise is amazingly revealing of the way your soul wants to help make things light hearted, even in the most difficult of days 🙂 so wonderful to know you Carrla 🙂 – Mike

        2. Hi I’m lost now it’s at the point I don’t know how I got here all I know is I want my life back. Can you please help me?

  4. This was very interesting. Just to ask, does the question about the ice cream and tv show mean something as well. Also, when you asked what my favorite movie was and to answer with the first thing that came to mind, I thought of Forest Gump?. I really like that movie but it has never been the “one” I would normally say. It was the first to pop in my mind. If I had to choose the character, I would say Lieutenant Dan. What does that mean? Also the answers to the other questions are vanilla ice cream and Sex and the City. Thank you.

  5. My favorite ice cream is heavenly has favorite movie is Forrest Gump and I don’t really watch TV anymore but I loved to watch Quantum Leap.

    1. What great selections! The ice cream is just to help the mind start to surrender and allow for instant answers. But that answer is heavenly.. 😉 OK, Quantum leap and Forest gump do have a theme to them. Forests life in the movie takes place over a large period of time and his challenges change as he “shifts” through each phase of life. This is the same as Sam. Sam is a good guy who is just trapped in a situation he was never meant to be in. This echoes every single instance that Forest finds himself in, even as he awkwardly meets the President and more. Both seek and crave love but it is always at arms reach 🙁 This is really a cool one because the persona of each character is literally love and appreciation. This is so beautiful to know you are there Sharon and so lovely to know another like myself 🙂 (I LOVED QL as a kid and watched is obsessively, even named my Dog “Ziggy” from it and the cartoon character). You may have already found love, but if you haven’t… know it is not far away at all! Sorry for the delay here, ive been so slammed I havent been able to get to all responses, but I’m so glad Im able to catch up now 🙂 – mike

    2. Ice cream- strawberry. Movie- The Twilight series. Character- Bella she loved with all her heart & soul, knew what she wanted and went for it ….a beautiful love story that, just goes to show you can be different and still have a common goal

  6. My favorite movie is “To Kill a Mockingbird” and favorite character is Scout. I will definitely begin exploring this. Thank you so much for sharing this insight.

    1. To Kill A Mockingbird has always been my favorite, as well as the character “Scout”. I identify with her very much. I was a second child with an older brother who is much like “Jim” and I was always a tomboy.

  7. I don’t really have a favorite I don’t like to limit myself .
But one movie or show that made a deep impact on me when I was a little
    Girl (55 now)
Was the twighlight zone episode where the man wanted to be left alone to read .
The end was him sitting there with a library of books no one left and his glasses were broken .
    So he could
    Not read !
I learned then to be careful what you wish for in life .

    1. I love this Sandy. This is such a valuable lesson of mental focus. The movie “Click”, was similar in its intention, and I loved that movie too. 🙂 Blessings to you – Mike

    1. OMG so cool 🙂 what a fun movie. (assuming you meant Spaceballs since you said Princess Vespa). 🙂 What a fun character! I will have to watch that again as I dont remember the journey she goes through, but she is indeed surrounded by lovable foolish folks 😉 – Mike

  8. The first movie that radically changed my life was Flash Dance. I was 28 years old and had been separated from my husband for 9 months. 3 months later I followed my heart packed up my 2 Children ages 9 and 11 and headed out to San Diego Ca.
I left my family and friends in Chicago and fearlessly built a new life for us. Four years later I married my soul mate and he adopted my children as his own.?Looking forward to our 35th anniversary this year.

    1. WOW thats so beautiful Jo Ann! Super love you commenting and again, appreciate your involvement in the group 🙂 – Mike

  9. This was a fun tool to try out. My movie changes based upon what’s resonating with me, and this time I chose Ferris Bueller’s Day off with Ferris as my fave character. This is definitely reflecting my current trajectory to recapture some of the excitement and wonder of childhood and bring the simple joys of skipping school, hanging out with your friends, and being harmlessly wild and getting away with it. Not one of the main 3 characters is mean spirited and that is why I always root for them to come out on top!

    1. love that! great insights Alyse 🙂 Ferris represents the rebel archetype against the mundane, the insane, and the boring. A carefree “no rules” attitude that personifies personal freedom. It’s time for you to embrace your own freedom! – Mike

  10. So, let’s see. My favourite flavour is caramel, my favourite movie is Dirty Dancing, my favourite character is Babe and I really don’t watch a lot of tv, but I like The Masked Singer. Thank you!

  11. Wow! This exercise is eye opening. Thank you. Ice cream is sweet cream, television show is gilmore girls. Movie is the original Sabrina and character is Sabrina. I watched the movie for the first time when I was 15. It’s still my favorite 33 years later. The insights you shared in the video seem simple, yet they are not anything I’ve ever considered.

  12. Hi, favourite ice cream was chocolate. Fav current programme is Big bang theory!
Fist film I thought of was Jaws and the police detective
Second film was Empire strikes back and Luke Skywalker…

  13. My favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice. Kiera Knightly as Elizabeth Bennett, is my favorite character.
And my favorite tv shows are Schitts Creek and Friends. Those are hard to pick a favorite character. They warm my heart and make me laugh.

  14. Ice cream: German chocolate
TV show: I can’t pick one that’s my favorite. I liked several, but I’ve got a favorite TV cartoon which is Scooby-Doo.
    Movie: Space Balls (Princess Vespa)

I realize my choices are a bit escapist, but it’s a healthier choice than some other options.

  15. My favorite film is dance with the wolf’s Kevin Costner and wolf’s and native indians.i was 13 in Sweden and went with my family on my mother’s birthday .organized as surprise .Chinese restaurant after

  16. Favorite movie has been Aladin. I don’t watch much TV but for years I loved touched by an angel. Was so sad when the show ended. Not sure if I could find it now. I was just talking to my kiddos the other day about it. Not sure how to use your method to determine what that says about my. ? love you Mike thank you for all you share with us from your wisdom and your heart.

  17. Triumph of the human spirit had always moved me, no matter the circumstances…the Outsiders…Johnny Cade!

    1. Hi Tracy 🙂 What a great movie! I reference that movie weekly myself (Im pretty nerdy and tell people that Im “Golden Like Pony Boy”, which most people don’t understand). The movie really shows the journey of it’s main character as he navigates the various aspects of the self in his relationship to the other characters. He has a hard life, but he makes the best of everything that presents itself, even though a lot of what presents itself looks bad. In the end, he sees the value of just being a good person will trump all else. I would guess that you have been surrounded also by a lot of “chaos”, but somehow, you always see the good in the day, even when others do not and you help all by simply being 🙂 Much love for being here Tracy – Mike

  18. I would say my favorite ice cream is Cherry Vanilla, I really don’t have a favorite TV show, and my Favorite movie of all time is What Dreams May Come. People think it is morbid but it has such deep soul revealing meanings in it.

  19. Hello my manifestation friends.
My favorite ice cream is Dulce Del Leche. It’s basically vanilla and caramel. So good!

My favorite T. V. Show is The Rookie. I worked on the show on Season 3 as the Admin. Season 4 as a Detective.

    Nathan Fillion is the STAR!

He’s a very funny Actor and we share the same Birthday! 03/27.

It was a pleasure working with him.

Looking forward to returning as a Principle Actress as well in the near future!!

    My favorite Movie is RESPECT!

I love to SING! Jennifer Hudson did an AMAZING job.

Although I’m Honor of Aretha Franklin who I grew up singing a lot of her songs and who inspired me to sing. This movie touched me in many ways.

I enjoy you all thanks so much for the love and support that I feel watching your inspirational videos!!
May God continue to be a blessing in lives.
    Thanks!!

  20. Hi Mike!
Tv Show: I don’t watch a lot of tv but once upon a time my fav show was The Cleaner.
It was like intervention but a lot more focus on the recovery rather than the usage. I related to the strange talks with my Higher Power and the never ending penance I felt I must repay to balance out the wreckage I created in my active addiction.

My all time favorite movie is Pay It Forward, my favorite character in that movie would be Mr. Simonet (the history teacher)
I have psoriasis and very much relate to Eugene’s struggle with the scars on his face and the worlds reaction to it. His bravery in stepping out of his comfort zone and risking his coping mechanisms for a chance at love is inspiring. Then there is the premise of the entire movie that has been extremely impactful in my mindset and way of being.

Thanks for the exercise and perspective! Love and blessings to you and yours-Melissa 🙂

    1. wow, what a fun person you are Carole 🙂 Liar liar is a great movie and I LOVE banana splits 🙂 Liar liar is at it’s core about the journey to self approval and to the priority of things in life after the main character feels he is able to deserve those things… Im sure you know, but there is even a scene where he “kicks his own ass”. This is such a great movie because it undertones your work to uncover the real you, the you beneath the surface and the you that deserves all of the amazing gifts life has to provide 🙂 If you do this with others, remember to look at the theme, any specific scene that could have meaning (feel free to ask them which was their favorite scene) and have a blast with it 🙂 so glad you are here 🙂 – Mike

  21. My fraorite movie right now is sing it is animated and I love it best for the elephant one the ape but the come a rose with life helping situation I am 62 years old my favorite movie that left an impretion when I was young was Dr. Zivago very gut movie.

  22. Thank you Mike, for the value you add to my life.
My favourite ice cream is tin roof. The first favourite movie to come to mind is Eat Pray Love and while I don’t watch tv, my current favourite Netflix show is After Life.

  23. Hi I really enjoyed your outlook on how our favorite movie reflects how we view ourselves. My number one favorite movie of all times is Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis but the child in the movie was my favorite character, I don’t remember but think his name is Charlie. Close second is definitely The Notebook of course. I’m a little perplexed on what this would mean about how I view myself. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you namaste ??

    Toni U.
    Florida

    1. Morning Toni 🙂

OK, the Sixth sense centers around perception. This movie reveals to me that you may feel that you perceive the world different than most and that you likely feel that you see both the mystical and even possibly the macabre. I have many friends who communicate with the spirit realm and it’s gone from “oh thats odd”, to “of course you do”. I would encourage you to continue on your path of finding the mystical and to embrace the light of true unity consciousness. That movie really speaks to your gifts that may or may not be lying dormant. As for the Notebook, that’s one of our tribes favorites that I recently watched and its all about the craving to be adored and value by someone over all else and to be in control of our life to make the right decision of the heart over the decisions of the mind. I wouldn’t go much deeper than that to be honest, both of those feel like the exact message you know already for some reason? sending you love and grateful for you being here – Mike

  24. “Something’s Gotta Give” with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. I used to watch it regularly but I haven’t in a few years. Maybe it’s time to break it out again and watch it.
Going through a time in my life at this moment, feeling unsure alot about my life. Hearing what u said today brings me a little more hope , right now that this too shall pass and I will get my happy ending after all. Thank u!!

  25. Fav ice cream is chocolate, my whole life favorite movie since I was a child has been The Sound of Music but the last few years it has been Captain Marvel. Phantom of the Opera was a 10yr ago favorite and Sweet Magnolias was as a teenager which is kinda crazy now that I think about it bc I got very sick at the age of 17 with endometriosis, adhesions, scar tissue, and hemorrhaging cysts. At the age of 22 I had full blown uterine cancer so I had to have a partial hysterectomy, chemo & radiation after 7 laparoscopic procedures. I never thought to think about all of that before like that, mind blown ? lol. Thank you for all your help & guidance!

    1. I love this Aimee! Im sure you see how each of these movies has been a reflection of your souls growth. LOVE the move away from Phantom, which cinematically is a masterpiece, but thematically is a tough one (my moms favorite still) as it echos our life view as a victim. The change to Captain Marvel is EPIC! It’s a literal rebirth story which it sounds like you have had one heck of a rebirth of your own! I love that it centers around her even “forgetting” her old life to become the new woman she is now. Mostly because when we can “forget”, we are actually forgiving too. She of course ends the movie to go on her own amazing journey and I cant wait to hear more about how you journey through your own 🙂 sending you love – Mike

      1. Thank you Mike!! Yes on Aug 11 2018 I had an accident that lead me to almost dying, I had a NDE which also lead to my initial spiritual awakening. I experienced SOO much, I even have it documented in the hospital notes how I was talking to family members from my past. It changed me as a person and I haven’t been the same again, I have been on a spiritual journey ever since. Learning more as I go and to my understanding I am going through a Kundalini awakening, I am also an Empath and Star Seed with HSP. I’ve gotten into using astrology, numerology, tarot cards and I get angel numbers repeatedly ever since 2014 when I consciously became aware of them. When I was a child I could astral travel and I’ve always had gifts but as a teenager I experienced SOO much trauma that for a long time, decades in fact I became an addict to meth and then opiates when I got sick. I think the angel numbers were the beginning of my process of awakening and aligning myself with my true purpose in life again. I know I still have more to learn and understand that will come with time, thank you for doing what you do; it’s a huge help to have a community of people that I can relate too.

    1. Hi Traci 🙂

I honestly don’t get a lot of Grease. When I started doing this LONG ago I thought for sure that movie would come up more, but it’s a great movie. Sandy goes through a huge transformation as she moves from “innocence” to “woman” and her journey is filled with a ton of sub reflection on her outer archetype. Being a musical, it of course is filled with fun songs with friends and there is definitely a message in musicals I’ve seen. Most who choose them really want life to be more “spicy” and if we look at Sandy’s development in the movie, she definitely brings the spice up! I would want to know what you are doing to add more spice to your life and world? Is there something you can do to put on those proverbial “leather pants” and make it just as exciting for you? you and your spouse if you have one, or just in general?? Because you chose friends as the TV show and grease is also a movie built around friends, I would suspect you really are also craving the friendship connections portrayed on TV and media or value that you already have them in your life. Sadly though, for most it rarely happens. Finding a tribe that evolves at the same pace is very difficult, but that doesn’t mean life will not have some quality friendships, especially when we start to surrender the need to be any one specific version of ourselves. When you start to add that spice in more, those “friends” will just show up and they will be just as fun loving as you most definitely are! It’s an honor to meet you 🙂 – Mike

  26. Favorite ice cream pistachio.
As far as favorite movie or person I don’t have any. But as a child favorite cartoon was speed racer.

    1. OMGosh, chim chim, Speed and trixy?? were some of my favs growing up. Everything was so fast, colorful and exciting wherever speed was. He also had amazing support from his family to be the hero of his own story and had a great side kick with chim chim. That show really helped me to want to be the hero of my own world. Hopefully you are still the hero of your own story Phyllis and hopefully you are getting that support that Speed got and having fun in life like he did 🙂 One thing I’ve learned the last decade is that there will always be a Racer X somewhere, but we dont always have to engage we Racer X of the world 🙂 hopefully you have been there too. Much Love – Mike

    1. Hi Luisa 🙂

OK, so friends is about connection and friendship (which is pretty obvious), but more its about not being alone and having people in life to journey with. When we look at pretty woman, it really speaks to a desire to be taken from reality and whisked away to an all new reality that the viewer wishes could happen. It carries so much emotional energy and so much hope for the future that we do see that movie come up very often. The key for most people who have this movie is to never give up hope! The world can change in an instant! Ideally you would move from hoping to planning and manifesting. Hope, when used as “knowing” is really faith. If we can use that faith and the Law of Assumption (something my daughter recently told me is a trending term) we can know that the reality we want is already happening and we can feel it now. I would encourage you to really start planning how you can be your own hero in the story. It’s time for you to shine Luisa 🙂 – Mike

  27. My all time favorite id is black hawk down this movie was based off of a part of our defense it was based off of a group know as the Air force rangers a group of whom my in laws which was my grandfather Indiana’s most decorated soldier Master sergeant Bill Butler who had a camp named after him and my Uncle William Butler who was in charger of flying the chopper that was heavily equipped I have watched that movie 22 times since it was released and I hated army movies but for some reason I was drawn to it how do interpret this

  28. My favorite movie is Antonia’s Line, a Dutch movie, about a matriarch and her family, which includes her femals line biologically, her “adopted” friends who live with her on her farm and homestead, and the quirky and faulted people from her town. She accepts what is, defends her family, and is the pin that holds the wheel on and keep everything in motion, with calm, with confidence, with sensibility and fairness. Her genuis grand-daughter says to her “Isn’t it sad that nothing exists” and Anotina replys in a beat “That is why there is so much” She has huge dinners at a long table with a lively gathering of friends and family. The story is both funny and awful, beautiful and tragic, fantasial and real. I am Antonia, caring for all, holding it together, strong and confident, embracing and accepting.

  29. Hello Mike, I love dulce de luce ice cream, I think that’s the correct spelling. I have two favorite movies, Mt Fair Lady and Frankenstein. I’m Eliza and the Monster. I don’t watch much television, but I’ve always enjoyed Stargate.

  30. Thanks this is really fun exercise to try… my favorite movies are always changing and I watch alot of them but my latest favorite is one of the x-men movies the Dark Phoenix… I’ve always loved the character Jean Gray since I was lil watching the xmen cartoon as a child. The version of this character is this film is my favorite though… I always try to try a different flavor of ice cream whenever we go but I guess I always get a scoop of cotton candy and then one I’ve never tried. Not sure what this says about me though. Lol

    1. I forgot to mention my favorite show is pitfalls and parolies… I love them all but mostly watching the dogs and parolies grow and heal.

  31. Favorite icecream: chocolate
Favorite show: Touched by an Angel
Favorite movie: The Matrix – Favorite character: Neo

  32. My favorite movie is A Knight’s Tale! It’s got everything! Comedy, drama, romance and great music! Love all the characters but the Heath Ledger character is my favorite.

Close second would be Avatar. I want to live on that planet. They are so in tune with all life there including the planet itself! I wish humans would embrace our planet like they do in that movie. What a wonderful world we would live in then!

  33. How does this work when the favorite movie is a documentary? For example, my favorite is What the Bleep? This specific example might be easier than I think because of the story embedded between the interviews, and more so because I identify with the character played by Marlee Maitlan. I do identify with the exploration and wonderment of how science is arriving at the mind boggling conclusions it is and how to apply that to ‘real life’ and get out of my own way.
